I think that it was a giid decision for the Supreme Court to decide that Obamacare is constitional. The decision will help keep many people healthy because they will have to buy health care.

I am a Libertarian Left. It means that I believe the government shouldn't have complete control over the country, but they still have a fragment of control. I agree with this. The government shouldn't be bothering itsself with things like whether gays should get married. It's not the governments decision. But I do believe that the government should do things like regulate the stock market and pass laws. I just think they should stay out of peoples personal lives.

Even though Wal-Mart has low prices, the brands they sell are usually low quality and you can find better quality brands for just as much at other stores. Wal-Mart doesn't have very high quality merchendise. Not only do family owned stores have better quality goods, they have the expertise needed to help you when you need help with a product.

If the Wal-Mart was trying to open a store in my town, I don't think I would shop there. There are many other stores that have a greater variety of products at the same prices. There are many specielty stores that would go bankrupt if Wal-Mart opened a new store.

After watching "Are We Safer?" I feel a little shocked. The government are stepping over unsaid limits, trying to keep, but they only report the crimes they stop, not the acts of terrorism that their machines miss. I feel as if the government is spending all this money on things that could keep the country safe, but they don't really know how to sift between the data it receives to see the possible threats, instead of just the immediate threats.

I think that the government is invading your privacy. With all this technology being used in the United States, the government is watching everyone, looking for terrorists, but they can also watching random things on the streets of America.

I don't think that the government has much of a role in the general welfare and the pursuit of happiness for many Americans. I believe that there are still some minorities that are discriminated against because the government has persecuted them in the past, such as blacks and Hispanics. Because of the previous discrimination, it is much harder for these minorities to provide for their themselves and their families well-being.

I believe that the authors are correct in their assumption that democracy cannot work in the Middle East. In the Middle East, there are many different countries with different types of customs, traditions and religions. For example, in the article, Egypt's Revolt, the Egyptian citizens practice either Islam or Muslim. These groups have disagreed often. One day, during a peaceful Islamic demonstration, a group of Egyptian Muslims attacked the Islamic supporters. A democracy is described as the rule of the people. If the people of Egypt cannot agree to disagree about the religions they practice, how can they be expected to cooperate when governing their country? The answer...they can't.

1. I expect to take away a better understanding of our government and the many different types of governments all over the world. I would like to know more about why different countries use different types of governments.

2. Today I learned that while comunism and fascism are both types of autocracy totalitarian governments, they are on compleatly different sides of the spectrum. With comunism, the totalitarianism reign is temporary, but with fascism, the reign is is made into a complete system that is capable of holding up to all assults and attacks.
